Description

We are pleased to offer a rare figurative stone sculpture, from the Kissi People, Sierra Leone, West          Africa.
This rare 17th century sculpture is crafted out of a dense piece of stone with elaborate stylized detailing and has acquired a gorgeous patina from age.
It is in nice antique condition and displays wonderfully measuring 7 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches wide.
The sculpture has some chips and scratches as shown and a hairline crack around the neck.
It also isn't very sturdy when standing up on its own.
