    AFRICAN TRIBAL ANTIQUE BENIN CAST BRONZE SCULPTURE.
    Exceptional articulated bronze Benin HEAD with THREE FIGURES headdress/ plaque.
    Two of the standing figures are carrying snakes and the central figure is holding a
    basket like offering.  The figures are articulated in a criss cross pattern and the
    Head is decorated in conch shells. The beard like edges going down the face to
    the bottom are snakes.  Fine work. Tremendous detail.
    From a Very Fine Collection of African and Pacific artifacts/sculptures out an
    estate in Connecticut.
    Oxidized bronze.
