    Description

    BSA NORMAN ROCKWELL PLATE "A GUIDING HAND".
    This plate is part of the Boy Scouts of America Calendar Series.  It depicts an older scout helping a younger scout tie a knot.  This depiction first appeared in "Boys Life" magazine in 1946 where Norman Rockwell was the editor and illustrator.  It was distributed by Dave Grossman Designs in 1982.  The plate is in it's original box and has a tag that describes it.  It has never been out of the box on display.  It is 8" in diameter and is gold rimmed.  There is the classic "Norman Rockwell" stamp in the lower right hand edge.
