    Description: Circa 1870 printed booklet catalog for the Stanley Rule and Level Co. of New Britain, Conn. Partial text from front reads "Improved Labor-Saving Carpenters' Tools including Bailey's Patent Adjustable Bench Planes manufactured by the Stanley Rule and Level Co." The limited offerings in this publication suggest this may be early in the Stanley plane company's development.
    Cover logo illustration of the man riding a plane with text in the wood shavings seems somewhat scarce in it's depiction.
