Gillette 1960 Refurbished Re-Plated Fat Boy Adjustable Razor F1.  All mechanics work precisely as they should, the TTO knob opens and closes as it is meant to and the adjustments turn and click perfectly! This razor is in Refurbished, Re-Plated in Palladium. The blade gap is even across both sides of the entire razor head. There Is Absolutely No Plate Loss, Brassing or Rust. The numbers on the adjusting wheel aren't missing any of the black paint, also the black ring under the adjuster is as black as if it was new. The razor has been completely disassembled, tuned up, re-plated, reassembled and polished. The razor is 100%!
Deep Cleaning / Disinfecting in 160 degree Ultrasonic Bath with special degreaser / soap scum remover, then a 10 minute soak in Pine Sol (kills 99.9% of germs FDA Approved). Also included is a NOS (new old stock) Collectible Razor Blade still in its' Original Envelope. This great Refurbished Re-Plated razor is a Fine Collectible, or can be used as a daily shaver.
Our process:
1. Repairs are made, guards are straightened, doors are straightened, mechanics are checked, razor is then disassembled.
2. Deep Cleaning / Disinfecting in 160 degree Ultrasonic Bath with special degreaser / soap scum remover, then a 10 minute soak in Pine Sol (kills 99.9% of germs FDA Approved)
3. Polishing and resurfacing, mirror polish where needed.
4. Hand Polish with special jewelers cloths.
5. Ultrasonic Deep Clean / Disinfecting at 160 degrees, 160 degree Electroclean, Surface Activation, then our Awesome Bright Nickel Plating.
6. If indicated- 24K Hard Gold Plate or White Platinum.
7. For Adjustables I paint the numbers and selector spring with Testors enamel paint. The black ring below the selector dial on Fatboys and Executives is now USA made automotive pinstriping, which in our experience lasts longer than painting with enamel. Red Tips and Blue Tips use Humbrol Enamel paints then are baked on, repeated and baked 2nd time.
8. Reassembly, blade gap is checked and set, mechanics are checked.
9. Final Hand Polish
