Robin Hood is perhaps the most beloved outlaw as well as one of those unsolved mysteries of folk lore. Was Robin Hood a real person. Robin Hood legends began as early as the 1300's in ballads, one specfically was about King Edward meeting an outlaw and employing him. However, one problem is the name Robin and Hood both of which were extremly common names in that age. Other historical refrences are found and quite a few but are they about the Robin Hood. We may not ever know if there was a man robbing the rich and giving to the poor but whether real or legend he has left his mark.
This is a sword inspired by the legend of Robin Hood. The sword is very orante with beautiful detail to the scroll work. The sword comes with a scabbard and is perfect for display.
    Attributes of the Weapon:
Blade: The blade of the sword is 440 stainless steel with a mirror polished finish. The edge is unsharpened with a very sharp point. The sword also features a ridge down the center of the blade and a short ricasso.
Scabbard: The scabbard is wooden with a black high gloss finish. The drag is very ornate with scroll work and a shield with crossed swords. The scabbard throat is steel with the same markings as the drag.
Guard: The guard is a quillion style made of solid steel. In the center of the cross peice is a cross one side and a crest with three lions on the other. The arms of the guard are decorated with angels.
Handle: The handle is black with steel bands. Across each band is scroll work. The handle and the guard are one solid piece. The pommel of the sword is the traditional ornate circle pommel of the 12th century. The outside of the circle is patterned, along the top of the circle is written Robin of Locksley and on the other side is Earl of Huntington. Inside the circle of steel is a blue iridescent stone held by a patterned cross.
