    Description

    #901006
This offering is for a replica of a
United States Army Staff Officer Sword
    and
    scabbard
    (
    new
    ).
The sword replica offered here is detailed to match the design of U.S. Army swords which has changed very little from the Civil War period until the present. It is one that might have been found on the side of one of General Grant’s Staff Officers or that might be seen on a Pentagon Officer of today.
The hand-guard is polished brass with the letters “U.S.” centered in the design; the letters “U.S.”: are also found centered in the blade scrollwork etchings. The blade (not sharp) is finished in gun metal blue. A polished steel Scabbard with two belt rings make it perfect for reenactments or a hanging display.
