Vintage WFL bass drum

Price drop today to 219.00 on my late 1940's possibly early 1950's WFL 24' x 14" bass drum. It is likely a marching band bass from back in the day when fine craftmanship meant everything.
Now Asking 219.00 with Remo heads on or 159.00 without the heads on. Local pickup only.
I dated the badge from reliable online research sources to determine its approximate build year. I bought this drum about 25 years ago from a small pawn shop in upstate SC. It has an artistry and warmth to it that is undeniable. I thought it looked so cool and classy, and at the time I did not even realize that WFL stood for William F. Ludwig, the founder of the renowned Ludwig Drum Company in the early 20th century.
I have kept it my music room to keep me company over the years, but very seldom have played it. It is likely a marching band bass given its look and hardware configuration and was likely repainted this dark brown stain a long time ago, or it could possibly be the original stain. I cannot tell for sure to be honest about it. If it was repainted it was long time ago given the patina on it.
I believe it is a maple shell but could be birch or mahogany too. It is in good shape for its age. Some paint chipping and only some light paint/shell indentations and scratches here and there. There is tarnishing on the hardware but it can be cleaned and polished up.
I put brand new Remo heads on it a couple of years ago and have only played it a couple of times since, so heads are in excellent condition. It is a true collector's gem especially for Ludwig Drums enthusiasts as WFL is the original Ludwig Company founded by Mr. William F. Ludwig himself back in the early 20th century. I doubt there are many of these vintage babies still around like my WFL bass drum.
Asking 9.00 as this is a very special vintage piece of Ludwig history that still sounds and plays great. If you want the drum without the almost-new Remo heads, it is yours for only 9.00 without the heads on.
