    WW2 Medal Group of (6) to Kriste, 11th Anti-Tank Regiment, South African Artillery
    Six to:  582609 G.H. KRISTE
    1939/45 Star; Africa Star; Italy Star; Defence; War and Africa Service Medals.
    With a faded ribbon bar for (5) medals. GVF condition.
    Copies of his service papers show that Gerhardus Jacobus Kriste was born 19 Feb. 1915 at Pretoria and was a "Coach Painter" by occupation when he attested 30/3/40 in the 24th Bty. 11th A/T Regt SAA.  He served in the 10th and 11th AT Regiments. Promoted to T/L Bdr 104/43.  Discharged 9/2/46. With the award slip and copies of service papers.
