WWII RAF Battle of Britain Hawker Hurricane Paragon Patriotic Series Tea Cup Set

Original vintage Paragon Patriotic Series tea cup & saucer commemorating the Royal Air Force (RAF). Fine bone china. Made in England. “Wide mouth” tea cup features WWII RAF Hawker Hurricane fighter aircraft. Saucer features RAF badge and Churchill’s quote, “Never was so much owed by so many to so few,” commemorating the valiant efforts of the RAF during the Battle of Britain. Bottom of both tea cup and saucer feature “double warrant” motif, item description, and number. Tea cup is approximately 4” wide and 2 1/8” high. Saucer is approximately 5 1/2" wide.
Tea cup and saucer appear to be in excellent used condition with signs of wear, such as minor scratches, scrapes, and paint loss. There are also manufacturing flaws, e.g., small bubbles, indentations or pits, several small areas of missing paint, and what appear to be stray paint marks.
